Ruby lives in De Pijp, where the evening moves from restaurant to bar without much of a walk in between. She speaks English. Body-to-body and soapy sessions are what she offers, and she decides what each one includes. At twenty-five she is warm and plain-spoken, and she asks guests who have been drinking to say so before the booking is agreed. She comes to a room, never to a bar. After a long night at the bar, body to body is the gentler of her two formats, since it needs no bathroom stage and no steady footing on a wet floor. A soapy session, by contrast, wants a room with a bath or a shower wide enough to stand in, and ninety minutes so the time under the water is never rushed. Either way she knocks forty to sixty minutes after the thread confirms, and the exact amount to pay is written there as well.

Ruby decides which bookings she takes and may decline any of them; she sets the limits for what a session includes, says what they are, and may end a visit at any point, as the terms set out.
